As you can tell by looking around my blog, I have this crazy obsession with nail polish. I am not ashamed because I would totally rather have a ton of polish than shoes! After all, it does take up less space!!! I had the chance to work with Sara, the Founder and Chief Polish Officer of Pretty Please Polish! Over at Pretty Please, you can pick the color of polish that you want and you can create a name up to 24 characters! This is pretty awesome because you can make it your own! This is perfect for any occasion! Perfect for gifts!
Directly from the website:
"Pretty Please thinks it’s time to get personal. That’s why we create customized nail polish just for you! You select a shade you love and give it your own unique name"
I am completely in love with this idea! Naming a polish something anything you want! I chose to name mine after my blog! Because after all, my blog is a big part of my life too! I chose to review the Perfectly Pastel Collection! I just love pastel colors! They are gorgeous too! Check out how they came in the mail!
When I opened the package I just loved how the polish was boxed up!
As you can tell, the front of the box features what you name your polish and the back features a peek at the colors that you chose! ( The lighting made the colors look darker). When I opened the box I was amazed at how pretty these polishes were!
From left to right, There is the lavender color, then peach color, teal blue and light pink. These colors have a small matte finish but I love my polish shiny so I added a top coat when I put them on! These polishes go on easily. It is not goopy at all. A little goes a long way and you may not even need more than one coat! i chose to use two coats and a top coat for extra shiny effect.
The first color that I wanted to try was the teal blue. Check this swatch out! Isn't it beautiful? I just love how vibrant the color is as well! The color is something that I don't have at all! This is definitely one of a kind and I am in awe!
I chose to play around with some nail art supplies and create some nail art with the polish!
I added a little contrast to the picture to make the color "pop" out more! Isn't it so pretty? =) I used a little of every color for this too. You can see the leopard spots and I used the lavender for the zebra print on my ring finger.
The next polish that I chose to use was the creamy peachy color.
I love how this color looks on my skin! This is something that I would not mind wearing for an everyday color! I also chose to play with this polish and do some nail art with it too!
I used the peachy color, teal blue and light pink for leopard print spots. I chose to add some nail jewels for the half moon look and I use a basic black polish and a dotting tool for the black accent on the print.
Not only was this the first time trying this polish but it was also my first go with this kind of nail art too! I just loved how it turned out! I used the light pink ( featured below) as my base coat color too!
This color alone is just beautiful! I love how creamy that it looks and how it dries when applied to my nail with a top coat too!
The last polish was the lavender color. I loved how vibrant this looks under my day light!
Is this not beautiful too? I am in love with the color!
The nail art I chose to do was a simple chevron line with the light pink and some dots with the dotting tool with the teal blue polish. I chose to add the nail jewels on each finger for effect.
Overall, I am in love with this polish and how big the bottle is! I just love how you can name your polish whatever you want!! This polish is a little on the expensive side, but seeing as how you can name your polish, it is totally worth it! They have a ton of colors to choose from on the Pretty Please website!
You can buy Pretty Please Polish for $10! Now here is something pretty neat- I took a screenshot directly from the website to show you, the more you buy, the bigger discount.
Pretty Please ships to the Continental Us only for the moment. Shipping cost is based on how much you buy and all sales are final. Be sure to follow Pretty Please on their social media to stay tuned to the latest news on their products! I can't wait to see what other colors they release in the future!
