Have you heard about this awesome Disney movie called The Hundred-Foot Journey?  I can't wait to see it! Check out more about it: In “The Hundred-Foot Journey,” Hassan Kadam (Manish Dayal) is a culinary ingĂ©nue with the gastronomic equivalent of perfect pitch. Displaced from their native India, the Kadam family, led by  Papa (Om Puri), settles in the quaint village of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val in the south of France. Filled  with charm, it is both picturesque and elegant – the ideal place to settle down and open an Indian  restaurant, Maison Mumbai. That is, until the chilly chef proprietress of Le Saule Pleureur, a Michelin- starred, classical French restaurant run by Madame Mallory (Academy Award®-winner Helen Mirren) gets wind of it. This movie is based on the best-selling novel by Richard C. Morais and starring Academy Award®-winner Helen Mirren. It will be in U.S. theaters August 8!
Recently, Celebrity Chefs Ryan Scott {Restaurateur & Host of Food Rush} and Aarti Sequeira {Author & Host of Aarti Party} have partnered together to create The Hundred-Foot Journey inspired recipes to celebrate World Market’s Gourmet promotion and the theatrical release of The Hundred-Foot Journey , to create delicious recipes inspired by the film. They have french food and indian food recipes that are just amazing!

  8. My son took me to Old World Market yesterday (maybe day before) to look for the crepe mix but they didn't have it. They are going to try and get it and call him when it comes in! I hope they do because he is planning on making this dessert for me!
