Couture Gel Nail Polish Starter Kit {#Review} {#Giveaway}

Until recently, I had never tried Gel Nails. I came across a great company called Couture Gel Nail Polish. I was stoked when I received the opportunity to work with them! If you haven't heard of them, they are a mother and daughter run company! They are located in North California and only source products that have NO history of animal testing. Check it out! I did my nails and my mother in laws nails. Now, this was the first time using it, bare with me on the results! They look great if you ask me! The color that I chose for my kit is from their spring collection. It is called Come On Barbie!.

 Instead of just showing you a picture of my nails- I wanted to share with you HOW I did it! After successfully completing hers, I wanted to do mine!

Step 1- you need to prep your nails! Don't use handcreams, lotions or sunscreen on the day you do your nails because you will keep the product from adhering properly. Gently remove surface oils with the buffer.

Step 2- Roll base coat in the palm of your hands. Don't shake. Apply a thin layer on each nail and be sure to seal the bottom of the nails to keep moisture from penetrating under the polish. Paint one hand and Cure base coat under the LED lamp for 30 seconds.

Step 3- Apply a thin coat of Couture Gel Nail Polish and again- be sure to seal the edges. Cure for 30 seconds under the LED lamp and repeat if needed. I did it twice to achieve the color I wanted.

Step 4- Apply a thin coat of Couture Gel Nail Polish Top Coat and make sure to again, seal the edges. Apply the top coat over the entire nail. LESS IS MORE. You can use a cuticle stick to clean up any mess you make. Set nails in LED lamp for 30 seconds to cure.

 Step 5- Grab that cleanse product and squeeze onto a lint free wipe. This will remove that tacky stuff and will give your nails that shiny and hard diamond finish!! Remember that your nails will not harden properly if you do not do this step.  ENJOY YOUR NAILS!!! If you did all of the steps correctly- your nails will last up to 3 weeks!

I am very thrilled with my results and for a "starter", I think that I did okay! You can find this kit for only $99 on the Couture Gel Nail Polish website! This is a great value!
