Lydia had a blast picking out everything that she wanted for her aquarium. We bought the tap water conditioner and went home and set up our tank. We were told to wait 24 hours to add any fish, as a precaution because tap water will shock fish. Lydia was so excited! She could not make up her mind. At the end of the day, we bought two guppies, a neon and a snail. If you didn't notice, her tank has a princess theme to it. Totally her if you ask me. I let her get whatever she wanted. I love the fact that she has this tank in her bedroom, because it teaches her responsibility. It also gives her a chance to show me she can be independent. She gets up every morning and feeds her fish, she also feeds them before bed. She calls us in there often to check out the light effects in the tank. Overall, I love that API Fishcare offers all of our starter kit needs.
