I LOVE the Grinch! This version has been remastered for 2015! It is also celebrating its 15th Anniversary I received a copy! If you are living under a rock, and haven't seen it, you can read all about it:
Discover the true meaning of the holiday season with the live action adaptation of the beloved classic, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Starring Jim Carrey as The Grinch, director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer reimagine one of the most enduring holiday stories of all time.  Why is The Grinch (Carrey) such a grouch? No one seems to know, until little Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen) takes matters into her own hands and turns both Whoville and The Grinch's world upside down, inside out... and funny side up.  Filled with dazzling scenery, special effects, makeup and costumes, this is an adventure “that can make your heart grow three sizes – if you’re not laughing too hard!” (Steve Murray, Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas: Grinchmas Edition on Blu-ray and Digital HD is available at a retailer near you for SRP of $19.98! It is available on Amazon now for $9.98! HERE.

  • Wilton Decorating Icing in Red
  • Wilton Decorating Icing in Blanco
  • Wilton Tip Set #3 round and #16 open star
  • Coulper Rings
  • Sprinkles
How To Make Your Cookies:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and 2 cups sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until just blended.
  3. Separate into three batches in bowls, mix your red and green in the 2nd and third bowls until you get the colors that you want.
  4. Roll each color into a ball with wax paper and put in the fridge for 2 hours.
  5. After chilled, sprinkle flour on your space and roll each flat and place on top of one another sandwiched.
  6. I patted them together with my hands and rolled horizontally and cut into sections.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned at the edges. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
Should you choose to decorate like I did, you can roll the edges of each cookie in sugar water and add sprinkles! Play with the icing and make it your own!
These cookies are just the cutest! They are perfect for a viewing party, or any occasion!
They are also delicious with a big glass of milk! Get the whole family involved to have a decorating party too! What do you think? Do you see these awesome cookies in your near future? I would love to hear!

  2. These are so cute. I had not thought of rolling the sides in water to help the sprinkles stick. Thanks for the tip.
