Milk-Bone is one of the most well known dog snack brands around. They are a favorite in this household for several reasons! Max loves them and they are affordable! A little more about them:
The original Milk-Bone® dog snack was created in 1908, by the F.H Bennett Biscuit Company at a bakery in the Lower East Side of New York City. The first dog biscuit treat made in the United States, Milk-Bone gave pet parents a little something to show their dogs how much they care.
It was love at first bite. The bone shaped treat and the box with a dog quickly became icons. Over the next few decades, Milk-Bone continued to grow and reward good dogs by introducing new flavors, sizes, and treats. Today, Milk-Bone gives you more than 20 different varieties of treats so you can show your best friend how much you care.
All made with love
Max, my Maltipoo loves treats. He has so many it is hilarious. He is quite spoiled on so many levels. Recently, I had the chance to work with Milk-Bone on reviewing their newest addition to their line of treats. We received the new Milk-Bone Brushing Chews
The Brushing Chews come in Mini and Small/Medium. They are also chicken flavored. These daily dental treats are clinically proven to reduce tartar and plaque build-up, as well as fight bad breath. The unique dental twist bone is designed to help clean even hard to reach back teeth and down to the gumline.

The Small/Medium Milk-Bone Brushing Chews come in store with a pack of 18, our review pack has 7. Plenty for Max until Payday so I can buy some more!
They are also in a resealable package.
The Mini Milk-Bone Brushing Chews come in a pack of 36 and our review pack has 14. Just enough for Max!
As you can see he was pretty happy to receive his new treats. These are a easy solution for daily oral care, clinically proven as effective as brushing. There is also 12 essential vitamins and minerals, including calcium for strong bones and teeth! Some tips you should know-
  • Feed one treat per day for dogs from 25-74 lb as part of a healthy diet. (Not suitable for dogs less than 25 lb, greater than 74 lb, or dogs less than 6 months of age.)
  • As with any edible product, ensure the treat is adequately chewed. Gulping any items can be harmful or cause serious injury to a dog.
  • Fresh drinking water should always be available.
  • For best results, feed daily and reseal package.

Overall, we love the new Milk-Bone Brushing Chew! This is a new treat to add to my Max's daily routine! Visit the Milk-Bone website to learn about other products they have to offer! Milk-Bone products should be in every dog owners home! =) You can find them at your local big box store. Mini, for dogs 5-24 pounds; and Small/Medium, for dogs 25-74 pounds. They retail for $4- $5 a box. Did you know that you can also personalize your own Milk-Bone box? That is correct! You can add your dogs photo and phrase to a box! Check that out here. 13. I hadn't seen the Milk Bone brushing chews before. I use Milk Bone all the time(I run a small pet rescue) & like at avoid teeth cleaning with the dogs if I can. In 2004 I lost my Boxer to complications from having her teeth cleaned. It's so important to keep those teeth clean.

  20. Does your dog have a sensitive stomach? I would love to give my dog these to clean his teeth, but I'm worried it will give him diarrhea. Right now, my Sheltie can't eat ANY people food, and he is only able to eat only one kind of dog treat! He doesn't chew ANY kind of bones or anything! I have had to have his teeth cleaned by the vet to the tune of $400. He is 8 yrs old, and I know that isn' too abnormal.
