"I have received product courtesy of Nintendo, but all thoughts and opinions are my own"
As you all know, I am a Nintendo Blogger! With that comes perks such as trying new products and games. We recently were able to receive a new game called Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
I was stoked to get this game because it was not long ago that she was asking about the Olympics! I thought this game was a cool way of teaching her about the Olympics too! As soon as she received it, she wanted to start playing right away! Get in the Games with two single-player modes: the Rio 2016 Quick Play mode, which lets you play Olympic Games events or Plus events that you choose; and the Road to Rio, a mode that lets you enjoy the story while competing as your Mii. Check out the story mode here. It is so neat!
When your child plays, they can play 14 events. Events include: Football, Golf, Javelin, 100m Freestyle Swimming, Archery, Boxing, Table Tennis, Beach Volleyball, Equestrian, BMX & Rhythmic Gymnastics. There are also 14 more PLUS Events. You also get the chance to play as your character and you can play different characters too! Mario and Sonic can play all events, however, other characters are for specific events. There are 40 characters that can be played too!
Another cool thing about this game is that this title features two single-player modes. Rio 2016 Quick Play lets you play Olympic Games events or Plus Events whenever you like, and the Road to Rio story mode has you play an original story in which you'll become a member of a prestigious gym. Local Play means that each member needs a 3DS and copy of the game- Download play means that each player needs a system, but you only need one game! How cool is that? Siblings can play each other! This is a great way for the whole family to play together and learn more about it!
Want to purchase? Visit a video game store near you, or check out the retailers on the Nintendo website that carry it! Visit Nintendo on their social media to stay up to date with the latest! This game is a SRP of $39.
