Bruce Cameron, A Dog’s Purpose, from director Lasse Hallström (The Cider House Rules, Dear John, The 100-Foot Journey), shares the soulful and surprising story of one devoted dog (voiced by Josh Gad) who finds the meaning of his own existence through the lives of the humans he teaches to laugh and love.
The family film told from the dog’s perspective also stars Dennis Quaid, Peggy Lipton, Britt Robertson, K.J. Apa, Juilet Rylance, Luke Kirby, John Ortiz and Pooch Hall. A Dog’s Purpose is produced by Gavin Polone (Zombieland, TV’s Gilmore Girls).
The film from Amblin Entertainment and Walden Media is executive produced by Alan Blomquist and Mark Sourian, and it will be distributed by Universal Pictures. Starring Britt Robertson, KJ Apa, John Ortiz, with Dennis Quaid and Josh Gad.

We used to have a poodle but he passed away. We'd like to get another dog in a year or two. Our neighbor has a dog that we'd give these toys to.

ReplyDeleteMy Tuc is a two year old pitbull/black lab mix. He is the goofiest dog I have ever owned. He is also a big talker. He has no problem scolding me in dog talk when I don't do what he wants.

ReplyDeleteI have a spoiled rotten little 7 lb chihuahu and I love her to death she's my baby.We save her from someone who was using her to have puppies to sell. We no more puppies for my Little Lucy she's treated like a queen. I wouldn't have it any other way!

ReplyDeleteI can't imagine a life without furbabies. I currently have three Treeing Walker Coonhounds and three cats (all rescues) - down from five dogs and three cats, after losing two dogs and one cat, and then finding a two-week-old feral kitten in July (she just turned 6 months old the week before Christmas). My dogs all came from high-kill shelters in NC and SC. There's Kenji, my clown. And, Kyoko, who was nearly starved before being dumped at the shelter and who is the sweetest, most loving girl. Seiji may have been abused before he ended up at the shelter and had a little difficulty adjusting but is now a very loving, playful boy. We have a fenced yard so they'll love chasing the balls and frisbee when the weather gets better.
ReplyDeleteI have 3 furry friends... Fang is a 14-year old Westie - he's diabetic and sleeps about 22 hours a day. Gunner is a spunky Australian Shepard that loves playing in the snow. Queenie is a beautiful Border Collie that loves to play ball and frisbee. I can't imagine life without my dogs.
